The Blues,
Like Sirens
called me
and I crashed myself upon rocks
bathed in bourbons, blood,
and the salt of tears,
and was left with the wounds of Bela Lugosi.
My hands
entangled in strings of steel,
I had only my teeth
for separating from my demons
who joined me
at the hip.
I have tried to evoke the breath of the Dragon,
And to play as close to the bone as possible.
