Chicago Winds Media Guide (1975):A 5th-round draft of the Steelers in 1971, Ralph intercepted 4 passes in hiw two seasons in Pittsburgh. He was traded to the Patriots in September of 1973 for an undisclosed draft choice. That year in New England, he appeared in 13 games and intercepted two passes. Released by the Patriots during the 1974 season, he joined Chicago of the WFL and intercepted one pass and returned it 34 years. Nicknamed "Sticks".
